Advisory: Please Stay Home If You’re Feeling Sick
To help keep our community healthy and comfortable, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell stay home and rest rather than attending in‑person activities.
Please stay home if you are experiencing:
- Fever or chills
- New or worsening cough
- Sore throat
- Runny or congested nose
- Unusual fatigue
- Any symptoms that make you feel “off” or not at your best
These symptoms are common with many everyday illnesses, and staying home helps reduce the chance of spreading them to others.
Why this matters
Activities that bring people together—especially indoors and for extended periods—make it easier for common infections to circulate. Choosing to stay home when sick protects:
- fellow participants
- volunteers and staff
- friends and family you return home to
When in doubt
If you’re unsure whether to attend, it’s perfectly okay to take a day off. Resting helps you recover faster and keeps the environment safer for everyone.
