Public Outreach
Our club, like most organizations, faces some attrition with regard to attendance. To counter this, we aim to attract new attendees. As the Webmaster, I’ve established an online presence for Casual Chess Club on several third-party websites, including Google®, Bing®, Yelp®, and others.
Between August 2024 and January 2025, Google Business recorded 462 interactions where people either visited our website or sought directions to Casual Chess Club. Note this statistic is just from Google Business alone. It does not include interactions from Bing®, Yelp®, or others.
While some factors contributing to attrition, such as death and relocation, are beyond our control, others can be addressed by the club. Therefore, I am reaching out to attendees and visitors to gather feedback on what they like or dislike about our club.
