In a bold move to boost the launch of Chess on Thursdays at Jersey Mikes, Mark Dunn (Secretary of Casual Chess Club™) has donated up to ten tickets to Aviators Baseball, played at Las Vegas Ballpark.

As a group, we have planned to go to the baseball game held at Las Vegas Ballpark on Thursday, August 28, 2025 7:05pm: Iowa at Las Vegas Aviators.

The Deal:

You get free ticket(s) to an Aviators baseball game, plus, you get $10 cash. All you have to do is appear in person. You can even bring a friend or family member. Terms and conditions apply1.

The Plan:

  1. Sign up before Thursday, August 28, 2025 (we need to know who wants to participate). This special offer is limited1.
  2. Participants will pick up their ticket(s) and cash gift during club meetings on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Tuesday August 26, 2025, or Thursday, August 28, 2025.
  3. Participants will meet at Jersey Mikes on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 5:30pm and carpool and/or caravan to Las Vegas Ballpark.
  4. Game starts at 7:05pm.
  5. Enjoy baseball with friends.
  6. Go home or wherever.

Important note: Thursday, August 28, 2025 is Aviators $2 Beer Night. Drink Responsibly.

About Chess on Thursdays at Jersey Mikes:

Starting Thursday, September 4, 2025, we will be expanding our meetings to include Thursdays at Jersey Mikes.

1 Terms and Conditions:

This offer is valid through August 28, 2025.

Tickets to Aviators Baseball are limited and subject to availability.

Cash gift is available only to individuals who have previously registered as a participant of the club (“Club Participant”).

Each Club Participant may request additional baseball tickets for family or friends, limit two.

If for some unforeseen circumstance a participant is unable to attend the game on August 28, 2025, they may exchange their ticket for a future Aviators home game to be played during the month of September 2025, subject to availability. Note that game start times vary.
