2024 Las Vegas Open

Tournaments: There will be five tournaments, including two Blitz tournaments (one for kids and one for adults).
Prize Pool: A total of $20,000 will be up for grabs, based on 200 paid entries.
Sections: The event will have five sections, with the top two being FIDE rated:
- Premier Section: Top prize of $2,000, open to players rated 1900 or above.
- Under 2100 Section: Prize fund of $1,600, open to players rated below 2100.
- Under 1800 Section: Prize pool of $1,400, open to players rated below 1800.
- Under 1500 Section: Prize fund of $1,200, open to players rated below 1500.
- Under 1200 Section: Prize pool of $800, open to players rated below 1200.
Registration: You can register at kingregistration.com/register/LVOPEN2024. Registration ends one hour before the first round.
Location: The tournament will be held at 3700 W Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Room Rates: If you need accommodation, you can use the Reserve a Room Link for discounted rates. Renovated rooms in the Ipanema Tower are $69 on weekdays and $169 on Fridays and Saturdays, while rooms in the Masquerade Tower are $39 on weekdays and $129 on Fridays and Saturdays.
