Daniel Negreanu Is So Aggressive

Poker, Chess, Las Vegas. Connected dots on the lattice of coincidence. I missed this video when it was published back in 2021. As we have members in Daniel’s rating category it seemed appropriate to cover it as it is both instructional and entertaining. While I don’t agree with all of Levy’s recommendations (Scandinavian is horrible for 1100 players) I wholeheartedly endorse the spirit and production value of this presentation. Daniel makes a very good chess student so it’s worthwhile to pay close attention to his observations and insights. As a poker player myself I am intrigued by the parallels he draws with chess and the application of gaming theory.
