Club Business | Chess.com Administrator Change

Casual Chess Club extends a special thanks to Mike Robbins, the club’s former Chess.com Administrator. Mike had been a tremendous help in organizing the club’s gaming events for our “Clubhouse” named Casual Chess Club – Las Vegas on Chess.com since its inception in January 2020.

Unfortunately, Mike has stepped down from the Chess.com Administrator position, but he is still a welcomed and voting member to the club.

The Associate Chess.com Administrator, Ed Magik will serve as an interim replacement until a new Chess.com Administrator has been determined.

For those who have Internet access, the Clubhouse has become our new meeting location for chess play on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6PM.

Currently, as a direct result of the Coronavirus pandemic, our the brick and mortar club meeting location inside the dining area at Jersey Mike’s Subs is temporarily closed for dine-in, but it is OPEN to walk-in traffic.  Please check their website for updates.
